ABOUT
PIGEON LOCAL

The Messenger’s Origin

In 2018, after a decade in corporate communications navigating half-million dollar budgets and national strategies, I realized the most important stories were local.

I left the corporate world to focus on the quiet corners of my community and support small businesses. I wanted to take the discipline and output of high-level marketing and bring it to the neighborhoods, local businesses, and suburbs that drive community.

Why Pigeon?

Pigeons can be found in every city in the world and in most suburbs. They are the ultimate local. They know every shortcut, every hidden alley, and every quiet corner. They are the original messengers of communities, moving through the noise to deliver what matters.

This is how I work. I’m not a “digital nomad” or an agency selling pre-packaged products and templates. I’m a neighbor with a decade of experience and the speed, skill, and expertise to make sure your neighborhood story lands exactly where it belongs—with the people who walk your streets.

Why it Matters

Most people treat the neighborhood social media account like a digital bulletin board—a place for flyers and announcements, alerts, and a mix of neighborhood news and influencer-style content. I see it differently.

When you treat a neighborhood with the same editorial discipline as a major media network, you don’t just get “likes” — you get foot traffic, increased sales, and a stronger sense of community identity. When your social media feed “feels” and “sounds” like your neighborhood, you build trust from your neighbors and increase buy-in for local initiatives.

From the Sidewalk to the Feed

Each neighborhood in the Greater Denver Area has a distinct voice, rhythm, and history. At Pigeon Local, it’s not just about “posting content.” It’s about curating an atmosphere that translates the unique look and feel of your streets into a digital identity—helping the neighborhood navigate growing pains and stay resilient through economic shifts and change.

Since 2021, I’ve partnered with Highlands Square on Denver’s Northside to grow a 15k+ organic community with real media and outreach value through the power of Sidewalk-to-Feed storytelling. I’ve developed relationships with top Denver area content creators, brand strategists, and the event planners behind neighborhood farmers markets, street fairs, and bazaars.

I’d love to build this success for your neighborhood, too.
